Association of Concrete Industrial Flooring Contractors (ACIFC) The Association of Concrete Indutrial Flooring Specialists (ACIFC) was established in 1994 to represent the interests of UK specialist contractors involved in the construction of concrete industrial floor slabs. The ACIFC, has twelve contractor members and over thirty associate members who deliver an estimated 70 per cent of all UK built internal concrete industrial floors, promotes high standards based on better knowledge and understanding across the industry.

Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) Formed in 1975, the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) represents over 50 of the UK’s major manufacturers and contractors as well as regulatory and certification bodies and overseas associates involved in the specialist passive fire protection (PFP) industry. These manufactures and contractors are involved with the fire protection of structural steel and ductwork, the construction of fire barriers and the provision of fire rated penetration seals and firestops.

Contract Flooring Association (CFA) The Contract Flooring Association (CFA) was formed in 1974 by the amalgamation of three small flooring associations: The Floor Covering Contractors Association, whose members specialised primarily in smooth floorcoverings: the Association of Flooring Contractors (hardwood flooring) and the Carpet Planners Association. Its present membership, therefore, consists of contractors engaged in the installation of all floor finishes including in-situ floorings and sub-floor screeds with manufacturers and distributors of flooring materials, adhesives and accessories.
